Hi, I want to share with you a little bit of the history of my YouTube channel Arte en casa – Manualidades y reciclaje. Although my professional life started in very different fields, I always felt a deep connection with crafts and the idea of transforming simple things, even with recycled materials, into something unique and special. This love of creating with my hands became something I needed to share, and I thought YouTube would be the perfect place to do it.
At first, what a challenge! It was a whole new world for me: learning about cameras, editing, social media…. But from the beginning it was very clear to me that this project was not just for me, but to build something much bigger: a community where we would be united by a love for crafts, mutual respect and, above all, the joy of creating something of our own.
I knew that to achieve this I would have to learn a lot, not only about the technical side, but also about how to genuinely connect with my audience. Every comment, every idea that is shared with me, helps me to grow and to better understand what my audience wants and needs. I am also aware that, as in any journey, mistakes are inevitable. But instead of discouraging me, I use them as lessons to keep improving. This process has taught me patience, humility and, above all, to value every step, no matter how small it may seem.
The most gratifying thing about all this is that it has allowed me to unfold my vocation. When I see that my projects inspire someone, or when someone tells me that they were encouraged to recycle or try something new thanks to one of my videos, I feel that I am achieving something truly valuable.
I hope that my story and my work are an invitation for others to find what they are passionate about and share it with the world, because together, with creativity and enthusiasm, we can do amazing things!
